We have an urgent, four-day window to take a major step toward electing Octavio Hernandez in the HD51 Special Election, and we need your help right now.

Our goal is clear: We must collect 450 more petitions by 12:00 PM on Tuesday, November 18, 2025.

This weekend is absolutely critical. We are calling on every supporter who can spare just one hour to join the mobilization effort.

The Call to Action: You, One Hour, 20 Petitions

If you can give us one hour this weekend, you can make a huge impact. Our target for every volunteer is to collect 20 signed petitions by canvassing a democratic-dense street near the district, or by joining Octavio at one of tomorrow's events!

How to Get Started:

  1. Request Your List OR Join an Event (Click here):

    • Canvass a Street:

      • If you live in HD51: We can provide you with a list of petition-eligible voters right on your street or in your immediate neighborhood.

      • If you are outside the district: We will give you a targeted list for the closest high-potential neighborhood to you.

  2. Print Your Petitions: You can easily print the petitions yourself (they are formatted to print 2 on a page, so that's just 10 single-sided pages total) using this direct link:

  3. Go Collect: Hit the streets or the events with your materials! Remember: Only people who live within Florida House District 51 can sign. They can be registered as any party—Democrat, Republican, or NPA—as long as they are HD51 residents.

Deadline and Drop-off/Pick-up

The deadline is non-negotiable, and we need to have all hard copies in hand immediately following the weekend push:

All petitions must be dropped off or picked up by 12:00 PM, Tuesday, November 18, 2025.

  • Drop-off: Bring your collected petitions to the Polk County Democratic Party Office: 5600 U.S. Hwy 98 N, Lakeland, FL 33809 on Sunday, Nov. 15, 2pm-4pm

  • Pick-up: If you need a campaign team member to coordinate a pick-up from your house, please contact Kristellys (954) 804-9010.
